The LSC Webinar on April 19 will focus on renovating spaces for undergraduate STEM learning.

The process of planning the renovation of the Science Center at West Point (Phase I recently completed) will be described.

  • Learn about their goal of "making science visible:" how they arrived at that goal and achieved that goal.
  • Learn about how a new model of learning spaces--the 'classaotry'--evolved during their planning and examine some the new classotories at West Point.
  • Learn about how the faculty (and cadets) are adjusting to the new spaces.
  • Learn what they learned from this first phase of renovation that will inform subsequent phases.
  • Gain insights about modest steps toward renewing spaces, whether or not a major remodeling project is in your immediate future.
